by Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö
OM SVASTI
OM: May it be auspicious!
NGAK LA WANG GYUR SHEY-JA T’HAM-CHAY KHYEN
Master over speech, you understand all fields of knowledge,
LOB-ZANG GYEL-WAY RING-LUK NYIN-MOR JEY
Of excellent intellect, you illuminate the tradition of the Victorious One,
GANG-CHEN TEN-DZIN GYEL TS’HO’I TSUK-GYEN CHHOK
Among the ocean of victorious holders of the Teachings in the Land of Snows, you are the supreme crown ornament:
ZHAP PAY SI T’HAY BAR-DU ZHUK SOL-DEP
I pray that your lotus feet abide until the end of conditioned existence.
P’HAK NOR RIN-CHHEN DUN GYII NGON-PAR T’HO
With the seven precious riches of the noble ones are you eminently exalted,
CHHO KYI GYAL-PO SI SUM WANG GYUR WA
King of Dharma, you hold sway over the three planes of conditioned existence:
DZAM-LING TEN-PAY DAK-PO ZHAP-TEN SOL
Ruler of the Teachings in this world, I pray that your exalted feet remain firm.
DRO-WAY LA-MA TS’HUNG-PA-MEY-PAY GON
Guru of wandering beings, incomparable lord protector,
CHHOK GI SANG SUM ZI-JI RAP T’HRO-WAY
Through the intense radiance from the overwhelming brilliance of your three secrets supreme,
CHHO NOR DO T’HAR DE ZHI’I PEL YON GYAY
May the majestic qualities of the fourfold abundance of Dharma, wealth, aspirations, and freedom thrive,
TEN-PA RIN-CHHEN DAR ZHING GYAY-PAR SHOK
And may the precious Teachings flourish and bloom!
