A Feeling Difficult to Describe
by Geshe Sherab Phüntsok (dge bshes shes rab phun tshogs)

ངོ་མཚར་མདངས་ཀྱི་སྤྲས་པའི་གནས་འདི་ན།
Here in this place, which gives off a marvelous glow,
གསེར་མདོག་ཉི་མའི་འཛུམ་མདངས་མཚོ་ལ་འཁྱེལ།
The gleaming smile of the golden-hued sun strikes against the ocean;
སྤྲིན་ནག་སྟུག་པོའི་གོམ་ཁ་རླུང་ལ་ཕྱོགས།
The strides of dense black clouds face against the wind:
དགའ་སྐྱོ་འཕར་མའི་སྣང་བ་ཡ་མཚན་ཞིག།།
An incredible manifestation, which goes beyond joy and sadness.
