“For me along with my retinue, for Dharma practitioners, and for the limitless forces of good, may all harmful enemies, obstructions, elemental spirits, and non-human negative forces be repelled. May they be subdued.”

“May all adverse conditions and obstacles be repelled. May they be dispersed. May we be protected from them.”

“May all sickness demons, death demons, destruction demons, horse demons, devastation demons, year demons, month demons, week demons, speech demons, and all evil demons be repelled.”

“Furthermore, may we be protected on all sides from all evil demons. May they be repelled. May they be pacified.”

“For myself along with my associates, may all contagious diseases, harmful spirits, sorcery, cursing spirits, sudden illnesses, punishment by kings, evil forces, injury, illness demons, fatality demons, time demons, old age demons, youth demons, adult demons, year demons, month demons, week demons, hour demons, seventh-year obstacle demons, external damagers, the three hundred and sixty harmful spirits, the forty-one thousand adverse conditions, the eighty-one harms that come from inconducive bad omens, and all those who are rough and cruel be vanquished. May they be repelled. May they be overcome. May we be protected from them. May they be defeated.”

“The qualities of reciting in this way are inconceivable; in so doing, one will be freed from demonic harm.”

The Sublime Master gave instruction with those words; and the Venerable Ānanda rejoiced, and deeply praised what had been spoken by the Sublime Master.

THE INCANTATION OF THE THIRTEEN CAKRAS IS COMPLETE.
